Nick Cave highlighted at THEARC's open house
Washington's THEARC (Town Hall Education, Arts Recreation Campus) hosted its 7th annual community open house November 28 with special guest Nick Cave, a renowned visual artist and dancer. The U.S. Department of State, in partnership with Art in Embassies (AIE), celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The AIE program has played a leading role in U.S. public diplomacy by promoting cross-cultural dialogue and understanding through the visual arts, and by sponsoring dynamic artist exchanges.
