PHOTOS: Million Puppet March
It might not have been a million, but in response to Mitt Romney's vow to ban public funding for Big Bird and public broadcasting, an estimated thousand people attended the Million Puppet March on Saturday.
Rockville, Md. resident Frank Samuelson described "Moopets," who appeared in the most recent Muppets film, as a group of "shifty, shady characters."
