Wellness Wednesdays: Top ways to have a healthy Thanksgiving

It’s a day to be thankful, merry and to be among those you love—but, as you are feasting with friends and family, keeping a watchful eye on your consumption may prevent any post-Thanksgiving waistline regret. The average American will consume more than 4,500 calories and 229 grams of fat on Thanksgiving Day alone, the Caloric Control Council said.

Chat and eat

Look up from your plate from time to time and make sure to engage with the group you are with. Not only will that allow your body time to register that you are consuming food and you'll eat slower, but, it will also give you time to catch up with your loved ones!
