Friendship Collegiate comes out on top at DCSAA championship football game
The Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School Knights beat the Dunbar High Crimson Tide Saturday, becoming the first winners of the D.C. State Athletic Association (DCSAA) championship. The game was hosted by Howard University.
Friendship's Yannick Ngakoua, a senior linebacker and tight end, celebrated after scoring a touchdown in the first half. Friendship led Dunbar 22 to 6 at the half and eventually won by a final score of 48 to 12.
