Friendship Collegiate comes out on top at DCSAA championship football game
The Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School Knights beat the Dunbar High Crimson Tide Saturday, becoming the first winners of the D.C. State Athletic Association (DCSAA) championship. The game was hosted by Howard University.
Dunbar's Crimson Tide had their moments. Senior Patrick Witherspoon was greeted by teammates after he returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown in the first half.
