Friendship Collegiate comes out on top at DCSAA championship football game
The Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School Knights beat the Dunbar High Crimson Tide Saturday, becoming the first winners of the D.C. State Athletic Association (DCSAA) championship. The game was hosted by Howard University.
Daejuan Funderburk, a junior wide receiver for Friendship, fought for a pass against Dunbar's Andre Morris in the second half of Saturday's DCSAA championship game at Howard University.
