Friendship Collegiate comes out on top at DCSAA championship football game
The Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School Knights beat the Dunbar High Crimson Tide Saturday, becoming the first winners of the D.C. State Athletic Association (DCSAA) championship. The game was hosted by Howard University.
After Funderburk scored, Friendship sophomore Donnell Thompson ran up and down the sideline waving the D.C. flag.
