National Trolley Museum takes a historic view of railway travel
In a world of planes, trains and automobiles, it's nice to take a look at trollies--their slower, more scenic counterpart. The National Capital Trolley Museum allows visitors to take a look into the "heritage of electric and interurban railways of Washington, DC." Take a look.
Ken Rucker, who used to teach social studies at a high school in Howard County, has been volunteering at the NCTM for 43 years. He decided to run it, as he said from his office at the museum, "just because it was fun."
