PHOTOS: 42nd annual Scottish Christmas Walk
Scottish pride was seen everywhere along the parade route at the 42nd annual Scottish Christmas Walk Saturday. The parade featured over 100 clans, plus groups of historical re-enactors, dog owners and pipe and drum bands that marched through Old Town Alexandria.
Dan Peer (left), whose grandmother was a Scottish Lowlander, and Stephen Smith, a retired police officer and National Guardsman, marched as 1880s-era Scottish military with "Subjects of the Queen," a historical group in Saturday's parade.
