PHOTOS: Activists call for stricter gun control legislation at White House
On the day that 20 children and six faculty members were killed in the second worst school shooting in U.S. history, activists gathered outside the White House for a vigil and to call for stricter gun control legislation.
Several dozen demonstrators for increased gun control took part in a candelight vigil outside the White House on Friday evening, with many people carrying signs showing the Twitter hashtag #TodayISTheDay.
