PHOTOS: World AIDS Day candlelight vigil

A World AIDS Day candlelight vigil was held at Dupont Circle Saturday night, organized by the Whitman-Walker Clinic and several community partners.

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray called upon residents to get tested for HIV/AIDS and said the city has a 2.7 percent infection rate, which numbers almost 15,000 people. He also mentioned the District has lost nearly 12,000 people since the epidemic began.
