Daily Eye Wonder January 2013
A collection of some beautiful, strange, interesting, and fascinating pictures of weather, environment and space that might let you wonder.
Clouds, clouds, everywhere clouds
The visible satellite image from Thursday shows cloud streamers across the Great Lakes. Cold, northwest winds blowing across the warmer water formed stratocumulus clouds in northwest to southeast streaks. Meanwhile, note the more wispy cirrus clouds farther south in the Midwest ahead of a low pressure coming south from Canada producing snow near the U.S./Canada border.
