Inaugural Balls, retro photos

After a day of ceremonies and parades, the President and First Lady throw on their formal wear and party the night away. Inaugural balls and galas have been a tradition since George Washington was elected - and while the tuxes and ball gowns have changed with the times, the custom of celebrating America's new president has stayed the same.
