PHOTOS: Thousands freeze their fur off at the Polar Bear Plunge
Thousands took a dip in the frigid Chesapeake Bay Saturday for the the 17th Annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge, which benefits Special Olympics Maryland. The event was expected to bring in $2.8M for the organization.
A man dressed as Darth Vader, who preferred to remain anonymous, said he dipped his toe into the water. It was his sixth trip to PlungeFest.
