Richard III remains found in England
LEICESTER, England (AP) - He was missing for 500 years, but experts in Britain say they have now found the remains of England's King Richard III. The battle-scarred remains were found under a parking lot in the city of Leicester (LEHS'-tuhr) and scientists conducted DNA tests, matching a sample taken from a distant living relative. Scientists say it's "beyond reasonable doubt" that the skeleton is the king, who died at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485.
British researchers say the skull was damaged and the spine was curved, both sings that it was that of Richard III.
