The Oscar Roadtrip stops in D.C.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences launched Oscar Roadtrip this week to build buzz for the big show. Thursday, fans were able to hold him, take pictures with him and even give pretend acceptance speeches.
Bob Millette, in town from Fairmont, Minn. for a National Education Association board meeting, held a real Oscar statuette outside the U.S. Capitol Building on Thursday. The "Oscar Roadtrip" is touring D.C. all day and heading to Baltimore Friday,Feb. 8.
