P-3B Waiting to Start the Day

The NASA IceBridge mission is the largest airborne survey of Earth's polar ice ever flown. The P-3B planes are waiting to take off to gain more information on the Arctic and Antarctic ice sheets, ice shelves, and sea ice. The three-dimensional views this mission will acquire will help monitor the ever changing features of Greenland and Arctic ice.
