JFK assassination 50th anniversary photos

Many Americans remember exactly where they were on November 22, 1963, the day President John F. Kennedy's life was cut short by an assassin's bullet. His murder has been one of the most discussed and dissected events of the 20th century.

President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline Kennedy are greeted by an enthusiastic crowd upon their arrival at Dallas Airport, on November 22, 1963. Only a few hours later the president was assassinated while riding in an open-top limousine through the city.
