Walmart says that they'll pull out of three proposed sites in Wards 5 and 7 after the passage of the Large Retailers Accountability Act, exacerbating a dearth of fresh food and grocery availability for residents of the areas.
The much heralded arrival of Walmart at three locations in the District of Columbia will not happen if the city passes its planned livable wage act.
