Daylight Savings Time
Thanks to the start of Daylight Savings Time, Metro service stops one hour early Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Professor Nicholas Sanders from William and Mary completed a study with University of Virginia professor Jennifer Doleac, and it found that from daylight to standard time, robberies jump seven percent to 27-percent in that sunset hour.
Remember, it's fall back an hour. Otherwise, you'll be an hour early on Sunday for church, golf, brunch or whatever.
