The NAACP today announced that a resolution supporting marriage equality for same-sex couples has been passed by the organization’s board of directors and called the move “a continuation of its historic commitment to equal protection under the law.”
Throngs of cheering supporters greeted Gov. Andrew Cuomo as he led off the parade two days after enacting the historic equal marriage law.
