U.S. officials plan to announce criminal charges against China in international cyber-espionage case
The United States has brought first-of-its kind cyber-espionage charges against five Chinese military officials accused of hacking into U.S. companies to gain trade secrets.
"Stewart Nozette's greed exceeded his loyalty to our country," said U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen.
Bryan Underwood, a former contract security guard at a U.S. consulate, has been charged with trying to pass defense secrets to Chinese intelligence.
