The 16-day shutdown, which shuttered the popular Montgomery County space, cost the nonprofit agency that runs the park about $200,000, a representative from the Partnership for Arts and Culture says.
Actors, painters and potters are back in business at Glen Echo Park. The artistic haven is operated by Montgomery County and non-profit Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.
The barriers are still in place, and Glen Echo Park in Maryland appears to be frozen in time. It is stuck right where it was at the beginning of this month when it fell victim to the government shutdown.
It seems like speed cameras and red light cameras are sprouting up all over the Washington metro area. Now one small Montgomery County neighborhood is requesting a stop sign camera.
