Mary Barra, General Motors CEO, returns to D.C. to testify before a Senate panel about ignition switch recall
A Senate panel will pose questions to a new set of key players Thursday as it delves deeper into General Motors' delayed recall of millions of small cars.
General Motors CEO Mary Barra will be back before a U.S. Senate subcommittee Thursday answering questions about the company’s widespread recall, but Barra is refusing to meet with families of victims who were killed in fatal car crashes.
Thirteen deaths have been linked to a faulty ignition switch in GM vehicles.
Congress will press GM's CEO for answers this week.
