District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray and other city leaders are making their annual trip to New York to meet with the three bond rating agencies.
Moody's Investors Service has downgraded Howard University's credit rating, citing revenue declines at the historically black college and automatic federal budget cuts from Congress.
Moody's did not downgrade the city's bond rating and there were no other change's to the District's ratings from the three major credit rating agencies.
