Saying that she was "truly sorry" for the 2010 hit-and-run that killed U.S. Senate candidate Natasha Pettigrew, Christy Littleford was given a 4-year suspended sentence on Friday.
Natasha Pettigrew, 30, was riding her bike, training for a triathlon, when she was struck and killed. She was a law student, on leave while she ran as the Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate from Maryland.
