As reported by Bethesda Now, the bill, as introduced by County Councilmen Roger Berliner and Hans Reimer, would set speed limits in urban areas to 25 miles per hour. It would also reduce the lane width in those spots to 10 feet.
As many as 800 water mains throughout Montgomery County are of the same design as the one that ruptured under Connecticut Avenue last month, Montgomery County Councilman Roger Berliner said Wednesday.
