The D.C. Council has delivered a final blow to some of outgoing Mayor Vincent Gray's priorities by overriding his veto of the city's $10.6 billion budget.
In a letter to the Council Friday, Gray said he takes issue with the budget's limited aid for seniors, funding for the city's streetcar project, and the controversial 'yoga tax,' among other items.
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has vetoed a bill that would have granted people who receive red-light tickets the right to contest citations in circuit court.
