A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of the D.C. area starting at midnight tonight and remaining through 10am Friday.

Winter Weather Advisory canceled for D.C. area
The snow is over, but we'll still have a cold weekend. The snow around D.C. was less than 1" although northern and western Maryland and Virginia did get as much as 4".

Washington D.C. weather: Winter Storm Warnings dropped for D.C. metro area
What started with the possibility of a coating of snow for the greater D.C. area seems to be ending with a chance of very little snow at all. All storm advisories and warnings have been canceled for the region.
