An investment adviser has been indicted on wire fraud and money laundering charges for allegedly stealing $1.2 million from a client's account.
Douglas Taylor, the former fire chief of a small Fauquier County town, was sentenced Friday to two years in jail for defrauding his own department and a local school system out of thousands of dollars.
