A warm front will lift northward Sunday allowing for much warmer temperatures for the start of the work week.

Cloudy skies and scattered showers will dot  radar overnight. Patchy fog may develop during the early morning hours as temperatures fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s. A warm front will begin to lift northward Sunday keeping clouds, showers and drizzle in the forecast and below average temperatures for this time of year. High should reach at least 70 in the District, with cooler readings in the suburbs.

A push of warmer air arrives Monday along with a better chance for scattered thunderstorms. Highs will eventually rebound to near 80 by late afternoon. Hot and more humid airs jumps back into the extended outlook with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees both Tuesday and Wednesday.
