Today's Forecast Updated Thursday at 9:00 AM

Morning fog gives way to peeks of sun and late day t-showers... repeat, repeat....

This Afternoon:
Partly Sunny with a few t-showers late
Highs: Near 90
Precipitation: 30%
lingering showers, then cloudy with patchy fog
Lows: Low 70s
Precipitation: 30%
Partly Sunny with storms likely PM
Highs: Mid 80s
Precipitation: 60%

Minor differences in the forecast compared to yesterday... and more of the same into tomorrow.  It was foggy in spots early this morning as our frontal boundary lingers and moisture spreads across it.  Disturbances will ride along the high pressure ridge that is anchored to our south. While low pressure persists over the Great Lakes.

This Afternoon

Rain chances for the D.C. area today are a bit lower at about 30%.  But, they go up again Friday afternoon to 60%.  A cold front will finally clear the region on Saturday as high pressure backs in from the northeast.  This will bring in an easterly wind, so unfortunately, it will keep the clouds around on Saturday and probably on Sunday, too.  Fingers crossed we break that down a bit on Sunday.  More sunshine and warming temperatures early next week.
