It will be nice through the work week but what about the weekend?
High Pressure centered near Lake Huron will be the controlling factor of our local weather until a cold front approaches the region in about 7 days. Initially, the high pressure center will provide beautiful weather conditions with clearing skies this evening, and plenty of comfortable sunshine with lower humidity levels tomorrow and Friday,
By early Saturday, the high pressure center will shift off-shore. It will still produce partly to mostly sunny skies, but its location and orientation will turn the winds to the southeast and south and that will pump in increasingly warm and humid air. High temperatures will be around 90 degrees. There could be an isolated thunderstorm along the ridges and mountains well west of Washington over the weekend… late each afternoon. There will be a slight increase in the chance of afternoon showers or thunder on Monday and Tuesday.
