It feels like summer is here today in full force with very warm and muggy conditions.

: Afternoon Highs

Dew Points will be in the 60s today making for uncomfortable conditions. The temperature on the thermometer will be a few cooler than the "feels like" temperature because of the southerly winds transporting moisture in from the Gulf of Mexico. A cold front is approaching from the West and it will trigger a few thunderstorms late today. A few of them could reach severe limits and produce damaging winds in extreme western Maryland and West Virginia. The majority of us won't get wet until Thursday with more widespread and frequent showers and thunderstorms. Behind the front it will be much cooler and less humid. The weekend looks good with 70s and sunshine. Clouds will return on Memorial Day.
