Monday:

Clouds will increase tonight ahead of our next weather system that will bring a wintry mix for Superbowl Sunday.  Light snow is possible tomorrow morning, as a warm front begins to lift north of the region, but it should be very light and we are not expecting accumulation.  Tomorrow evening more widespread areas of precipitation will move in with this weather system.  It may begin as snow and sleet, but will change to rain with warmer air moving in. Any untreated roads could be slick on your way to or from Superbowl parties, so be extra cautious on roads, bridges, and overpasses. All precipitation will change over to rain after midnight Sunday with rain continuing for the Monday morning commute. Colder air will spill in from NW to SE through the day Monday, so rain could briefly changeover to snow before ending midday Monday. Little to no additional accumulation is expected. Windy and cold conditions are expected Monday night into Tuesday. The rest of the week looks rather dry, as of now, with temperatures rebounding Wednesday into the 40s.
