Strong thunderstorms west of Washington

A real humid day and thunderstorms to come.  Keep an eye on Doppler.  There have been some warnings this evening but no real damage.   Some of those stromes will likely drift toward the D.C. area later tonight..  Tomorrow more humidity and with an approaching cold front thunderstorms are likely.

ZZZZZ

These storms are part of the leftover system that triggered the terrible tornadoes earlier  this week.  By late Friday much drier air sweeps in on northwest winds and some delightful pleasant weather for the big holiday weekend.  Enjoy and  I'll see you tonight one last time on ABC7. I've put up a fun blog about my meteorological journey.  Sunny days ahead
