Get ready for a warm week! Highs through next weekend will remain about 10 degrees above average. High pressure off the east coast will pump in an unseasonably warm airmass. Sunshine will prevail today with only a slight chance of a mountain storm. A cold front to our north will slowly sag south tomorrow triggering a few late day showers and storms. Highs will remain warm in the mid to upper 80s. By Wednesday, the cold front gets a big closer to the Mason Dixon line keeping highs around the 80 degree mark. Expect additional chances for showers and storms Wednesday afternoon. The latter half of the week remains dry with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

The late week forecast looks interesting with a tropical-like system developing off the Southeast U.S. coast. High pressure will keep the low from tracking northward, so it should have no impact on our weather. It will be something to monitor late week. As of now, next weekend looks dry with highs, still above average, in the lower 80s. Have a great day!
